 next SVT Stang named "Shelby Cobra GT500"
from Blue Oval News Robert Lane 20 March 2005 Dearborn, Michigan. The next generation Ford SVT Mustang Cobra will use the Shelby Cobra GT500 moniker.
The vehicle will produce an estimated 450 horsepower and is scheduled to be unveiled this coming week at the New York International Auto Show.
BlueOvalNews had been publishing information to the fact that the next generation Mustang Cobra would use the Shelby name for over two years.
The last Shelby Mustang made in the United States was in 1970, although, they were re-titled 1969 models. Check back for updates and press release material.
