Avoid Joe Myers Ford. I went there intending to purchase a FORD ESP, and the service i got was horrible. First off they quoted me $1705 for a 6yr/100k $0 deductable on my 05 GT. It seemed like a good price so i went up there. When i talked to Russ the Finance manager (whom i talked to on the phone and got the price from) he said if i wanted the $0 deductable it was $330 more. Typical bait and switch. What made things worse is he came into the office yelling and saying that i was just another person trying to take advantage of a saleperson. He then turned around walked out. This is the worst service i have ever seen. So anyone in Houston avoid Joe Myers. If there managers act like this i can only imagine what their sales people act like. FYI i tried to talk to the GM, but they had the dealership secretary call me back and said they can't do anytning about what he quoted to me, but they would let him know it was unprofessional to act that way. GRRrr.

Soryy if this is the wrong place to post, it didn't really seem to fit anywhere.

It looks like i will be driving from Jersey Village to Humble to see Fred-Fred about an ESP.

What happened to you does not surprise me at all.....it happens all the time. Did you buy your car there? You can purchase the ESP online, if you already have your car.

Yes go with Fred Fred . He is a great guy. He is very good to deal with. You wont be disappointed. I might get my car this tuesday Fred said. Yeehaaa

Yup, that dealership is absolutely horrible.

There's an excelent mechanic out back though, Jason. It's too bad he works at that shop.

No, they're not!! In most cases, yes. .............. Depends on their attitude. If they get in my face they soon find out they picked the wrong guy to try and intimidate. If they're legitimately upset, that's one thing. But some think they can insult you and you can't do anything about it. Boy are they surprised.

But there isn't any reason for what happened to have happened as stated. Totally unprofessional. I'd find out the owners name and fire off a complaint if what you said is true.

Well i got another email for Joe Myers public relations person which basically said if i don't like the decision, because the finance manager has been there for 10 years and he wouldn't make a mistake to take my business elsewhere. I emailed Fred and had a nice professional response inside of an hour. I can only say i wish his dealership wasn't 30miles across town. It looks like i will be getting my ESP through him. Thanks for the responses. It comes down to everyone makes mistakes, but why do you need to get in my face and shout to make yourself feel better.
