GT wheels for the Mustang???

I know a lot of people are looking for aftermarket wheels for the 05 stang. anyone thought about the BBS wheels from the GT??? They look great and the size seems aboat right for the Mustang 05 GT. If anyone knows, let me know what you think abut the size, bolt pattern and the back spacing.... Tried to find it on the Ford web sit (one of the most user unfriendly i have ever seen!!) with no luck...

Depends on what you'r looking for...you can go to: http://www.mustangtuning.com/17inchwheels.html and find a couple of retros, but there are more available. Try Google search on "2005 mustang wheels"

What i'm looking for is info on the Ford GT wheels (BBS) Not the Mustang GT. The wheels that come on the Ford GT 18 front and 19 rear. Just trying to see if anyone has info on bolt patern, off set, fit....

sorry, no info. when i saw this pic, w/ those meaty rear skins, i had the same idea as you. i was like, "omg, awesome." but then i settled on a sure fit and larger diameter setup- see my avatar. 20x9.5F & 20x11R. they are gonna be shod w/ 275/30-20s & 305/25-20s.

good luck in your hunt though. for one thing, if you pull it off, you will be unique. it would look killer! oh, the thing in my thinking process which deterred me from looking into the matter further is i thought, oem GT wheels have to weigh in w/ a hefty price tag. thinking just this put the binders on my thinking real quick.

I've gone to Budnik wheels in Huntington Beach, Ca. for the wheels on my '68 Camaro and have ordered "fatlip groove" wheels for my soon to arrive '05 Mustang GT. Check out their website www.budnik.com as they have many wheels in many sizes and will custom build the wheel of your choice. I have ordered the Fatlip groove wheel in a 18 x 9 front and 18 x 10 rear for my Mustang. They have done many '05 Mustangs so they know the proper offset for the diameter wheel you may order. Let me tell you that the wheels I have on my Camaro are head turners. Absolutely awesome. Good luck, Mike

I was reading through the latest issue of MT today and say that Hot Wheels has a set of rims out. Looks like a nice set of rims and you can use the Interacive Wheel System at Discount Tire Direct to view them.
