Don't know if this was in another thread? But I think I would have seen it... I read the "Red Hot Mustangs" about the V6 Vert, GT Coupe Stock, Saleen, Steeda, GT-R, and Shelby 500 today...
I want my to come stock as theirs!! Kicked the more powerful and much more expensive Saleen and GT-R($175,000)'s butts!!
Seriously though, something must have been wrong! The 440 HP GT-R cannot take 5 secs to 60! And will sertainly NOT loose to a stock GT on the quarter!! (Maybe the mechs took the C/S down to 1 PSI for them not to wreck it, they did take the nice wheels off...!?! ) And how is the empty (roll cage but fiberglass body etc.) GT-R heavier than the stock GT!!
Was glad to see the 4.9 0-60 on the stock GT, have mostly seen that in European tests before (4.8-5.2)... A friend also sent a 'road' test from Sweden where they drowe it on a ice track, they LOVED IT and said it was handling awesome! Better than many FWD cars!!:thumbsup
I now know I need a TTC 6-speed from Ford Racing and Hawk Brake Pads (Brembo full system if you guys go together), my B-day is May 9!!
