Question GT Wheels on V6

Anyone know if the 2005 GT upgraded wheels fit onto the V6? They look the same, but i know nothing. I love the look of those wheels and figured someone here would know. Thanks in advance!

I remember reading somewhere on a custom wheel site (not here) that the V6 uses +40 offset and the GT has a +45. Doesn't make sense to me. I wish Ford was more helpful about it. I opted for the painted wheels since I don't like the GT upgrade wheels and figured I would just get some nice chrome aftermarkets.

The GT wheels have a +45 offset on 8 inch rims the V6 has +39 on a 7 inch rim. The reason for the difference is without the change in offset the V6 wheels would sit in a half inch compared to the GT wheels. Regardless if you put the GT wheels on they will look just like they do on a GT. However, the V6 wheels won't clear the front brakes on the GT.

Summary:
GT wheels will fit any 05.
V6 wheels only fit V6

Ok. Now it makes more sense. Leave it to Ford to make things difficult for us lowly consumers. At least they got away from putting 4-lugs on the stang. Talk about diffuculty finding aftermarket wheels for my '87! I gave up and swapped to the 5-lug conversion and, presto, lots of wheels to choose from.
