Have any of you bought and installed the Xenon quarter window scoops? If so, what do you think of the looks after the paint and installation? I've already purchased mine and am in the process of having them painted. When I first got them (before paint) I held them up on my car to see what they would look like installed. I was not overly impressed with their looks. But I figured what the heck, at the least I should get them painted and then see what they look like installed. Anywise I'm interested in what any of you think who have already installed them. Thanks.

I posted the same question awhile back. I purchased the same scoops, but have been afraid of what they may look like and I don't like the fact that they attach to the paint and not the windows like the louvers do. It also looks like there may be a gap due to the thickness of the 3m tape, which would look like ****. The guys at Xenon said I can exchange them for the louvers if I wanted to, but I haven't been able to make up my mind. Let me know what you do?

It looks like that the tape should not be a problem and the scoops should fit snuggly. I had a Xenon front spoiler kit on my previous car and was very pleased with the fit and finish. Hopefully after my scoops are painted I'll have a much better feeling about how they look. I'll let you know what they look like after installation.

I was not sure about them at first but then I saw them on a 05GT. In the May 2005 issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords the silver GT has the window scoops and the side c-scoops. They look awesome. I already ordered mine and they should be on my doorstep tomorrow. There are lots of pics of them on the net. I have also seen a set on a car in the 2005 pics on this site.

I bought the same set I think,there were two kinds,the louvered and the "scoop" style, I bought the scoop style on ebay,and returned them the next day, not only do they just stick on the car with 2 sided tape(gee,do you think that would be hard for someone to steal?) They don't go on the windows, they go ON the paint on the sail panels! HORRIBLE!
