The fastback look is what drew me to the Mustang. There are definite advantages to owning a vert in so. cal. I'd suggest making a choice based on the look you like. I would get both, but my wife wants to keep her PT Cruiser!?!

Just got off the phone with my dealer. I finally placed an order for a Black GT Coupe. He swears that they have '05 allocations and can have my car within 6-8 weeks. We'll see. I fully expect my June '05 Black GT to become a November '06 Tungsten GT (with the now optional limited slip dif). I asked how many orders were ahead of mine at the dealer and he told me none. Once again, we'll see. I'm not holding my breath, but he is still holding my cash! Hope springs eternal.

Dude, I know you have already decided, but I had to weigh-in. I'm approaching mid-life, and to me that meant a fast convertible = '05 Premium, Stang, Vert, loaded. It shows up in a week and I am psyched! I have my moments when I wish I had ordered the coupe, but I don't think you can really go wrong either way.
