I recently test drove a fully loaded yellow 05 v6 (standard). I just loved the car, as I was leaving the dealership, I noticed the delaer still had 3 new 04 GT's (std) in the lot (fully loaded) . He even quoted the 04 price lower than the 05 v6. Now I can't seem to make up my mind on which one to get. I just love the way the 05 looks and I get my favourite color but the 04 is a GT and costs lesser than the 05 v6!!!. Also I want to add extra snow tires to the package since I live in new england and this will be my only car year round. Any suggestions??

have you taken an '04 for a test drive? I didn't care for them.

With out a doubt the o5 is fine...... With that said the 04 may have lower insurance rates, rebates etc that make it hard to decide on one. I would say if you can not afford the 05 GT or are not competely sold on the V6 get the 04 GT. That is just MHO.

It depends what you're into.

Do you really like the looks of the 05 or are you indifferent.
Is more horsepower your thing?
Do you want to be one of the first on the block to have an 05?

One of my best friends has an 03 GT Vert as loaded as you can get.
My other friend has an 04 Cobra Vert.

First I have to say they both put a huge grin on your face either at the track or at a stoplight.

Having said all that I went and bought an 05 without even having driven or ridden in the car. Why. Because I love the styling on the 05.

There are enough road tests of the 05 V6 out there for you to decide if the performance is adequate for you. Take an 05 V6 out for a test drive then take out the 04. See how both cars feel and decide for your self.
If you buy on price alone you'll be disappointed, not because you made a bad decision but because you made an uninformed decision.
