are the bumbers on the v6s any problem for dual exhaust? i was looking at one today at a local dealership and i noticed how there was an indention only on one side and it made me wonder if that would make dual look weird........

Yeah I put dual exhaust on my V6 but I had to take it to a body shop to get that other side cut to match it. It looks pretty good now. Only cost me like $40 to have it done.

Default 2005 V6 True Dual Exhaust

I just bought a 2005 V6 and installed an Airaid Intake system. I am looking at running true duals but have had mixed reactions. Anyone notice any power gains by running true duals? Any problems? Computer reflash, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With all those mods and the bumper you could have purchased the GT.

No need to reflash anything on the exhaust side except for headers. This is because the 02 sensor has been moved further from the engine, in most cases.

I hate it when you GT guys say stupid sh*t like that. The only difference between a GT and the 4.0 is 85 horsepower. Dont get your head hung up over the word GT. Every guy I know that has a GT has either upgraded his exhaust to an aftermarket or gotten some sort of s/c setup. I guess what I am trying to say is if you bought your GT for power, then why are you adding more power, hmmm is it that you guys are trying to like the cobras or saleen?

Yea, the only time you have to retune your car for a xhaust is when you run a true dual with no CAT's. Meaning you have no back pressure and your engine is wondering why its losing more than its gaining.

$5000 for 85 hp and a GT sticker.

Deal or No Deal?!

When I bought mine the difference was 1 sec to 60 and 1 sec in the quarter mile and 63 hp.

$5000 for 63 hp and the GT "mystique?"

BS.
