I was just wondering if there's going to be any big differences between the 2005 V6 from the 2006? I plan on buying off the lot...in July. Should I wait or get the '05? Thanks~!

IF ur planning on getting an '06 on the lot in July:

'06 doesn't start production until Aug 8th. And there prolly won't be as many like the '05 year. I heard it's already getting backed up to november/december for waiting already.

There are no big differences except maybe some colors. Sonic Blue i heard is no longer offered, and tunsten is. No body style changes though.

Here is my opinion and what I was thinking when I bought my 05 GT... Since it is tha first year they came out with this new design and do to the want of this car by everyone, I feel that it will be worth more 20 years from now b/c it was harder to get & the first car in that line, similar to that of the 64 1/2 mustang.

Go to www.fleet.ford.com
Click on 2006 Showroom, then cars, then 2006 Mustang. It lists all the options and on the right you can click on Color Options. I'm so glad they still offer the Legend Lime, I tried for an '05 but cancelled to wait for the '06. Might-as-well, 2005 is halfway over!

That's what I was thinking. I've decided that I'm going to get the '05. There's not much difference...and it seems better to get the '05. Thanks~! I can't wait, I'm excited, I still need to save a little more money though.

On the V6 for 2006, there will be a Pony package option. Will have a different grill w/fog lights I think. Other things in this package as well. I dont have all the info, but its been listed on this forum before. Do a search and check here also: http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/05/06/
