Default Magazine heads-up... Shelby GT500 preview drive in the new Car and Driver.
Just got the July 05 issue of C&D. They've driven the Shelby development car, and so far it sounds pretty wicked! Not that I will be able to afford one, but there's always the lottery! :thumbsup

roots s/c is a bit disappointing. but still.... SCHWING!!

one really cool aspect is that they'd like to keep it comfortable enough to use as a daily driver. Hopefully they can keep from going much past $40k

I read the article a few days ago, and apparently the reason they won't be using the Lysholm twin screw unit not because it's more expensive, but because they can't make enough of them!!! Apparently, the Lysholm unit also provides more power in the upper RPM range, while the roots type they're using is more midrange.
