These are 10" black Shelby Style vinyl racing stripes I purchased from Bob White Decals. I installed them all on my own, I used 1/8" red pin stripe tape to mark off the center of the car and used a vinyl measuring tape I bought to measure the center without scratching the paint. The spacing is 1 7/8", the stripes came out perfect from front to back. I used 3/4 of a teaspoon of Dawn dish soap mixed with tap water in a spray bottle; worked great. Bob from Bob White Decals helped me along the way with any questions I had about applying them and I was very impressed with his quality stripes. Check out my pictures, tell me what you think.
I think that looks great. How long to install? How much do the stripes cost?
Looks great:thumbsup
Sam
I have at least 15 hours in the whole project. That includes all the measuring, applying the stripes, allowing them to dry and peeling off the protective top layer of the vinyl. They cost me $299.99 plus about $8.00 for shipping. Here is the web site I bought them from: www.bobwhitedecals.com/Products/2005/05SS10.htm
The basic stripes are $249.99 and for an additional $50.00 I got the front and rear bumper extensions. I am very happy with the job I did and the quality of Bob White's stripes.
Looks great. You've got to have a lot of patience to do a job like that. My graphics guy said that this new style is one of the hardest cars to lay vinyl on because of the curves in all directions.
When you put on the stripes, i know you put them over the spoiler but did you put them under the spoiler too? if not how far over the trunk of the car did you go?

It's not hard but is time consuming. When I did my vinyl stripes it took me about 9 hours. Anyone with patience and the ability to follow directions can do this.
