Ok, I have a question about racing stripes. I’m getting the last 05 GT Vert from the dealer when it comes in next week. It’s Torch Flame red and has a black top with graphite interior. I’m going to have them put racing stripes on the car for me, I was going to do black. My question is, on the spoiler, do the racing stripes go over, under or both? I’m going to have the stripes start at the base of the radiator and up, but I’m not sure about the back.
Also, is it stupid to have stripes on a convertible GT, should they only be on coupes?
I think stripes would look good on a convertible. I saw pictures of a white conv GT with blue stripes. I wish I had saved the link, but it looked great.
YOu should put the stripes on the spoiler and under. Have you thouhgt about white or silver stripes?

Over and under the spoiler. I have black on my Yellow Vert w/ black top and love it. Since he has a black top... I think he should go w/ black stripes... I don't know what silver would do having that black top.

I'll by dying to see your red with black vert since that is exactly what I plan on getting. I'll be going with the stripe style that is shown on that link.
I think stripes on verts look great , I would go with black given your top color and go over and under the spoiler. One thing I would suggest is going with fatter stripes than the ones the dealers usually offer, most seem to apply 8 inch wide stripes, 10 or even 12 inch stripes look much better IMHO. Look through the photo's of 2005's thread and see for yourself, either way it's gonna be sweet, enjoy the new ride
