Default Stang vrs. Stang Tales

Headin' home from work, merge onto hwy401 hard on accell. Across 4 collector lanes then merge into express lanes, ahh yes. Heading home...windows down.

Up to 140 kms.hr (88mph) center lane and suddenly on the outside, whoosh! A red blur. My mind takes a second to register, an '05 T.Red GT! MY TWIN!

This guy was nuts but worst, I went nuts with him. I stopped looking at the speedo after 210(131) when I caught up to him. He planned on hangin' onto his lead and we both kept it on full. Finally pulled ahead then backed off as I neared my exit. Looked over as he passed by and saw another mid aged nut bar smiling back at me.

My hands were shaking as I exited the off ramp. Any rush I had was swallowed up by feelings of guilt for being so stupid. License time if caught, hurting my car. This is nuts.

Anyone else with a 'Stang tale?

I love to hear a fellow Torontonian enjoying themselves, but holy sheeet bro, that is just downright deadly, that is the busiest highway in North America. Slow down and be safe, or head up to the track.

I hope to have a pint with you at next T.O. Mustang get together.

It is easy to do. Most of us have done this. It is dumb in traffic to do but, at least you discuss it. It helps for next time.

Be safe.

Yes, I'm a dealer with non-goodyear tires. LOL. I remember from other posts you are too, right? See you're still waiting for your car, hang in there. It' worth the wait.

I have heard there is one occasionally, I'll keep my eyes and ears open. I'd love to meet some fellow Mustang owners!

I've had a few too many older stangs putting in the clutch and reving it up at me. So far just some strong sounding exhausts. The ricers seem to do it more, but sound like s$%t. Not one V6 or GT that I've given the thumbs up to or a wave has reciprocated. Maybe 5% GT's, 5% V6's and the other 90% V6 verts. WTF--- too many old farts driving the V6 verts. Maybe their all rentals and here on vacation. I go out in the boat and everybody on everything that floats waves at you.
