Default Wide Tires

Whats the widest tire that will fit on the 05-06 GT? I see some aftermarket tire and wheel companies selling up to 295/35-18s for the rear and 265/45-17s for the front. Can You put different size tires on like this? Is the pcm adjustable to accept different size tires front to rear?

Im running 285/35ZR19s on 9.5 wide rims in the rear. I have seen adds for 295/35ZR19 for the rear. for the front i'm running 245/40ZR19s on 19x8.5 rims. same add shows 255/40ZR19 for the front. I will go up one size next time around. Check out www.bigcostomwheels.com. thay have great sizing charts etc..... My gallery has pics

SRQ05GT those are some shark lookin wheels, the factory tires/wheels look lost in the big mustang wheel wells. do you have any scrub problems , like when turning and hitting a bump? Are the tires the same height so as to not confuse the pcm?

No rubbing problems at all. I'v seen some guys running 20s and lowering!!! The overall (wheel and tire) size is identical front and back. the front fit is perfect. I think the back is still to small for the large wheel wells. I'm going larger in the rear at some point. 295s or 315's.... www.bigcustomstires.com has the best sizing chart. good luck..

Question

Does anyone know if 275/40ZR18 would fit all the way around? I am looking for the largest tire size for all four hoofs. The ability to be able to rotate them is a plus.

I know the 04 Cobra came with a 275/40ZR17 all the way around but there an inch smaller.

Idon't know if this helps or not, but I have 275/50 17's all around. There is absolutely no more room in the front, but no rubs or scrapes.
