Sorry, I have to disagree with you there. At least for me, I could be driving along do 70 or 80mph and if I just pass someone they take it as a race. Just like tonight (1 Sept 05) some guy in a Honda (I think) would just stay a little ahead of me. I knew he wanted to race, but I didn't give him the satisfaction of it. I could have gun it and kept him from getting in front of me when traffic in has lane was going slow. But at the same time I have my 17yr with me and I don't want him to pick up my bad driving habits.

Kj_cici your still the man.

Looks like the next race legal is the Sept 9th. Are you planning to go? I just might go my self, maybe we can meet up with each other. My friend Dow will more likely be there, last time he won two trophys. If you plan to go I'll PM my cell # to you.

Ya gotta love those tards that drive xBs... with the exception of the Honda Element those shoebox xBs are the UGLIEST G**D*** car on the road today. Those POS's look exactly like an oversized toaster.

They are even fuglier when some ricer punk loads it up with a "yo-yo fo shizzle body kit, dawg" and a fart pipe and thinks he even has a snowball's chance in hell! Time to laugh at the loser and ask him to go fart away and try to race someone else.

Default an early 70's HUGE Station wagon challenged me

It was hilarious. I never got the exact model...some GM thing.

I was cruising home after work doing 35 in a 35 zone, as I edge up to him, I notice serious drag radials on the rear and guages mounted on top of the dash.

I somehow got the feeling he wanted to go...I was right. OMG...he GUNS it, it roars and smokes both rear tires - I'm stunned - HUH?!?! What was THAT!? Thank God nobody was in front of me 'cuz I'd have hit whatever got in my way. That was the funniest thing I've seen on the road in years...LMFAO

As I pull up to him later, I give him a hook-up sign and he laughes and gives me the good nod... ...good sense of humor...gotta have it driving that monster.....young bald guy...probably works in a Pep Boys....funny stuff. That beast must'a had 600+ HP and probably runs 9s....with big 'nuf rubber...

So far 5 times....2 chicks and 3 guys. They pulled up beside me on the freeway and stayed steady with me until I would look over and they dropped the flag --- 5 wins --- all older Stangs. The chicks were good looking too --- YEE HAA!!

I run my cars at Race Legal pretty regularly. The next race is September 9th. Maybe I'll see you there. One of the techs is a Mustang fan and likes to match us up against worthy competition. He was looking to buy a Screaming Yellow one.

I have yet to be challenged. I think every1 is too scared to race. But with gas prices the way they are, I'd prolly give it a good rev(to discourage them) and then drive normally. Not worth romping on a ricer right now.

in two whole months, only 2 callengers. Two young kids in an acura TL (from a roll, couldn't hang after the redline shift into 4th. History at 115 going into 5th) and a middle aged guy in a 4dr full size toyo pick-up with big pimpin rims. From a light? What, are you kiddin' ??

even trolling a little on fri nights, nobody. Course, I only run in certain, very limited situations. Cops here are vicious

I pulled up to a light, and up pulls a new Hemi Charger, guy starts revving the motor. So I did the same, took off from the light, they are not that fast. So we pulled up to the next light, guy looks over and turns right real fast. I think he was pissed cuz he got beat.

I was getting on the freeway the other day. We have those onramp lights during certain hours here in L.A. It was a double lane onramp with a merge a little ways on after the light, I drew a black Dodge pickup with a super bee sticker on the back, he wanted to race and I was ready.

Light turns green and I gun it. By the merge I had about a half car length ahead of him, merge and pull onto the freeway. This guy is on my tail, as I hit 95 I decided that I had enough and slow down. He stays on my tail and gates me for a quarter mile, then pulls next to me, flips me the bird and flies away.

It was a good feeling to smoke that bee (no pun intended

Nope... I don't get challenged, just glared at by all of the stupid ricers around here. Come to think of it... they used to challenge me all the time in my 2002, but the 2005 seems to be left alone. I wonder why???
