I would never drive that fast, it's agin the law. If, theoretically, I would ever venture to drive that fast I would be comfortable saying that my hood would be rock solid, as well.
wOw there's a lot of lawabiding citizenz in here!!! I think I hit more than 90 every time I enter a freeway, and have sat on the limiter for almost 1/3 the state of Tejas more times than I can count on one hand at least!
Member of hood dancing club. Starts over 80 in a headwind. First time it happened I pulled over to double check that it was latched, then egged it to over 140 - stayed together, but skerred me lots. Bobbling and waving up and down so much thought it would be permanently dammaged - and was sure was going to tear off any second.
Not so bad w/o headwind. And I got used to it - I'l check into the rubber bump stops - and gaps. Will also likely do hoodpins - it's extremely unsettling.
Add one more the list. I am also one of the lucky ones that drives the Autobahn almost every weekend. My hood starts the dancing thing at about 85 mph. The worst thing that happened is when a semi passed by me and the hood popped up and the safety latch caught. That gave me a nice scare. I went staight home and adjusted the bump stops. So far that never happened again, but it still worries me. Today I ran between 85 and 110 for a three hour trip. Hood bouncing everywhere, but no other problems.

Had my first experience with it a few weeks back heading down the interstate into a stiff headwind. I remember thinking to myself, "So that's what they're talking about!"
Can't say that I' am a member yet. Hey you think the nonfunctional hood scoops give our hood a little extra rigidity? That would totally make it functional!
I guess I'm a member now that I have the Cali Dreamin hood. The ram air is providing lots more air under the hood with no extra place to go. The hood floats around 100. I get some vibration at about 80. I've done all the adjustments I can do to the hood bump stops. No hood pins for me. 80 is plenty fast. I just worry about head-winds and turbulence behind trucks.
