Cost to Paint Body Kits?

Hey guys,

For those of you who already have body kits, how much did it cost you to prep and paint?

Somewhere between $350 and $500 for a reputable shop just to paint (not install) an add-on body kit. Figure even more for kits where the front/rear bumper covers are replaced completely. I'm sure if you shop around or have a friend in the business you can get it a little cheaper.

I got my Saleen body kit and rear wing painted and installed for $2400. I was originally quoted $1700 but the Saleen rear wing didn't cover the existing spoiler holes so they had to be filled and the trunk lid painted. I also had the rear quarter panels blended to match the rear bumper. I love how it turned out so it was defiantly worth the money. I was quoted $1600 from another place just to paint it so I would check around.
