Just to keep you up to date, The Ford Dealer Fixed it under warranty with the understanding that if Ford Kicks it back to him I will be getting the bill.
The problem why it took so long to get repaired was that they could not find an alternator, there seems to be a run on them !!! The Service Mgr said that "Because of the alternator issue and TSB, it has made the alternator hard to find" I could have told him that !! Oh thats right, I did!!
The Tech Tested the alternator and diaged it, No CEL Errors Hmmm
I think I told them that too....
tw0scoops123, I am out of town till friday, Steeda found a Dealer close to me, Cowles Ford In Woodbridge, VA they work on modded cars all day long. They will work on Steeda, Roush, KB, any Mustang Supercharger, Pulleys, anything that they sell.
New Twist on this strange saga, I re-installed the Stock Pulleys over the weekend. I was driving to work and it happened again, the engine got boggy and I got the Check Engine Light, I checked the code and, you guessed it, P0340 Cam position sensor malfunction. This time My Car is completly stock, no pulleys no CAI no Tune. I took it to the nearest dealer where I broke down. I explaned to the dealer the issue I had with battlefield Ford and as I was showing him the issue I noticed that the other warranty items that were supposed to be fixed were not, Brake fuild resuviar leak, passanger window in loose, Clunk in front end and the alternator, None of these items were fixed yet the dealer charged ford for service...
The dealer was laughing is a$$ off by now and said he is working two other customer cars that had work done at battlefield and he is re-doing the work... This time they can't complain about aftermarket parts since there are none.

New UPDATE ....Just got my car back not fixed.
The dealer asked me to put the car back to stock, ALL ITEMS, Sequential Turn signals, Axle Back Mufflers, Steel Braided Hoses, 4.10 gears, Plenum Cover even the Pioneer AVIC-D1 NAV. The Car has a New Alternator, New PCM, New Cam position sensors. and still getting the P0340 Check engine Light. The Mechanic can't figure out what is causing the CEL, I am getting very disappointed. What is going on any ideas anyone ???

Can you try ANOTHER dealer? That service dept sounds like they have their heads up their a$$. Talking sh1t about other dealerships is a sure sign of a rip-off artist. Try a third dealership.......

I have heard this so many times, even when i had my Vette, they tried to deny a warranty claim (a/c compressor) because I had engine mods (that had nothing even touching the A/C compressor). I just bitched and growled and finally they fixed it under warranty and they even detailed my car for me. I was like I paid 50K for this damn car and you guys cant fork out an A/C compresor. Same for the stang, you bought this car, and even ford knows most mustang owners are going to put mods on their cars. As long as the mods dont interfere with anything that goes wrong then whats the frikkin problem!

What kind of oil and filter do you have?
A fully synthetic oil with a high flow filter (K&N etc.) will mess with your VCT! I have not heard of it throwing a CEL but I have seen it mess up dyno runs...

The second dealer I went to is not denying warranty because of aftermarket parts, they are saying that They can't figure out what the problem is, so to eliminate all potential problems, FOMOCO is asking that I remove ALL Aftermarket parts so as to repair my car. they use diagnostic step sheets to try to figure out service issues, the dealer is telling me that they have tried ALL diagnostic procedures thus far, so they are now pointing to the aftermarket parts.
None of which are Engine performance parts
Steal Braided Hose / line covers and Magna Clamps (Possable RF interferance)
Pioneer AVIC-D1 Nav System (Possable RF interferance)
Midwest Plenum Cover (Possable RF interferance)
Sequental Taillights (Possable RF interferance)
FFRP 4.10 Gears (Possable causing PCM failure)
Polished Stock Aluminum Valve Covers (Possable RF interferance)
Non Ford MOCO Approved Air in the Tires, (Possable vibration)
Non Ford MOCO Approved Wax/Polish (Possable wind turbulance)
After Above list is taken care of, then the Dealer can continue to diagnose the problem

Hmm... maybe you're the first going to the next level...?? Maybe it would be worth $10 of cheap oil to see...?? Maybe the filter does not matter? We just started to look into that as well...
