Why do I have the feeling this will only end up in me buying or wanting more performance parts? :-D

I have it but it is in my opinion the WORST mustang mag. Most of them are adverticer driven but MM&FF is redicolous with pictures of oil cans etc. in tech articles!!

5.0 is better and Modified Mustang is best!

Best bang for the buck would be a $500 kit from rpmoutlet.com-Diablosport Predeator tune 93 octane/S&B CAI is the way to go. 5spd 13.19 Perfect throttle response - Installing 3.73s and JBA LTs and X-pipe this week and expect to run a 13.00 MAYBE A 12.99 would be nice

Wow this is an old one... The S&B is nice but there are better performing intakes for the GT.

There are MANY better intakes than the S&B!! There are three that as far as I know are superior; C&L, JBA, and Tunable Induction...

I would buy ANY of those three for a few 10's more over tha S&B!!!

RPM Outlet is according to me and many on this site one of the WORST do deal with...

Just my .02 Euro Cents again...

For the best deal on a CAI and a GOOD tune visit; www.tunableinduction.com

I agree with you on the only 3 to choose form. I'm using the C&L from Benspeed and very happy.
KJ What are you doing up at this hour?

I just installed my C&L Racer CAI and tune from Dynojoe. It's like I have a whole new car, and yes I am now trying to decide what to add next. This mod thing might become a problem.

What would you suggest to purchase from that site for an 06 GT looking for both a Tune and a CAI?

And what is the deal with the "good" tune? I saw that they only call it "good" on their site too.

The TI CAI and the SCT Xcal2 tuner. I believe John sells them as a pkg deal. You can also find the TI at www.brenspeed.com

Is there any specific reason it's almost $100 on Brenspeed?

It's the special 'TI titanium'. Plus you're getting a better tune than just a canned SCT off-the-shelf tune.

Alright, fair enough. So is the TI CAI the way to go, in your opinion?
