Default Hood Pics for the Crowd

if you have an aftermarket hood, lets see some pics!! show it off for the crowd:thumbsup i have an 06 redfire gt and need to get a meaner looking hood that will get some cool air under the hood. i'm especially interested to see any redfire examples. i've only seen black stripes on redfire cars so am wondering what white would look like. do i need to go with hood pi ns? thanks

Here is my Dream hood in the beginning stages of fitting. Will post more after it's painted. Still undecided about stripes. Most common that I've seen have been black behind the scoops to the glass. I think ghost flames behind the scoops would be kewl, but beyond my skill level.

Man, I like that hood. I have always been planningon gettign that hood, but seeing installed, makes me want it more. I will have it by summer in time for the shows. Nice hood. I think the ghost flames would look cool as well.

The Dream Hood is a little lighter than the stock. I'm hoping to have it done within a week. Would REALLY like to have it on when I go to a car show on the 20th BUT, I'm having some fitting issues at the moment. I wont go with stripes but undecided about ghost flames. I don't want to overkill since i'm not planning on any engine mods. I will probably, most likely, keep it plain. I have drove it a few times with the hood on around town and was pleasantly surprised to find that the top surface didn't get hot from the engine heat. As for the hood pins, I'm going to try to not use them. I like the look better without. I can always put them on later if needed. I'm getting the itch to start prepping so I can paint but will wait until the other issue is resolved. Hope it's soon.

here's my Dream Hood from RK Sport. I never installed the hood pins but if I did alot of highway driving I would. This hood is taller at the windshield which makes it harder to see just how much it shakes out near the front. I dont think its bad at all though. I also thought that this hood was lighter than the stock hoods...I talked to the guy at MRT yesterday about their hood lift kits and he didnt recomend me getting it because he was afraid they wouldnt be strong enough to hold up this hood. Im still thinkin about trying them??????? A pic of my wifes pony package hood too

MickMach - really nice pics. this will be a tough decision as there are so many cool hoods on the market. is the pony package hood just a scoop or a one-piece hood? thanks

I was wondering about that hood. I like it a lot. Your car looks great. Do you hear any additional rattles or noise with that hood? Never had an aftermarket hood before so not sure what to expect. Did the hood pins come with the hood or are they seperate?
