Default Another stock Stereo bites the dust

Man, I have to take my car in again for a new Stereo. I have the Breaker 500 in mine and once again....Cd Error. And the worst part is all Day long the unit is sitting there grinding and switiching cd's. You don't even have to have the key in the ignition or be inside and you'll hear it. What a piece of Crap. I like keeping things like that stock especially since it sounded decent enough for me...but this is getting ridiculous. Plus I can smell a burning plastic smell. I will be soooo Pissed if it perminantly funks up my car.
And to top it off...the dealer is acting like he has never heard of the problem. I alone with this being my 4th stereo should have been enough to remember..
Has anyone lately had the stereo problem? I know it was across the board on our 2005 models. But I Ass U Me d that by the 3rd version of the Breaker 500 that would have corrected the problem.
Well I got a 6 year 60,000 on my car so I can continue to get it replaced until then. So I guess at this rate being 4 units in a little over a year....that will mean I will go through about 24 stereos.....can you say LEMON? (stereo not the car..)

Yes, I had that problem in my 06 two weeks ago. They just put in a new one the next day. Mine clicked with the key out too so I pulled the fuse. My experience in Taylor, Michigan was pleasant though. Actually fun.

Yepper, I have already had one replaced....to top it off, they forgot to hook up the lighting. At night it was dark and you culdn't see anything on the unit!! Had to make another trip for them to "program it".

It's been ok since then..............
