I need to spend more time learning about my SCT xcalII, but in the mean time does anyone know if I have a programmer from one dealer (Alternative Auto, who doesn't have 91 octane tune), can I pay for and download a tune from another dealer?

Go to www.sctflash.com, forum, see the download, PDF file, 20 pgs., for the Xcal2.

You can download another tune if you have the SCT usb cable, and the tune from the other dealer is specific to your system.

Some dealers have it so you have to send the tuner back and don't allow tweaking of the tunes, which is an unecessary inconvienience and expense for the customer.

We simply email, or our custom tuners email the alternate tunes for a quick simple upload with the optional usb cable coming std. with the system.
