Default Nitto 555's in winter?

Is it possible to drive these in snow? I'mnot talking about deep snow(< 1 inch), maybe just a dusting?

I drive my pirelli's in snow during the winter, not very often, usually the road is salted by the time I have to go to work. But needless to say, pirelli's suck in the snow. Would Nitto's be much worse? Or is it dangerous to drive them in the winter?

Quit using that cuss word so early in the season, it's not even summer yet.

It's not a cuss word for people down in the southern belt who have summer all year 'round. Right?

Oh well, after looking o nthe net for a while I found reviews that said they weren't really designed for the winter..I guess I would just get them for my summer tires...

555'S, What kind/size wheel you going to use? You're kind of limited in size w/ the 555'S.

Have you gone to this site:
http://www.tirerack.com/upgrade_gara...2006&x=16&y=12
shows pretty much which tire is good for the conditions you are driving in.

Seems like the two I like are both summer tires...maybe I'll just start swapping out my pirelli's and get something else for summer.

Wonder why they don't sell Nitto.

Sonny - I'm looking at 18 x 9 Deepdishes.

Nice! The tirerack seems high compared to many other sites. For instance the ford chrome wheels are $336 @ the tirerack, $289 @ calmustang and $319 from the Ford site.
