Talking Out of FRESNO just some thing about a new member

This is pretty much just a rank and rav. I am new to this forum. Some about me off point I bought my 05 Mustang GT knowing nothing about the pony car all ways been a chevy truck guy into that custom scene. Decided to buy a car and I knew that the stang was the only real car out that year so of course I went with that. Bought the car not knowing any thing about a stick either but I knew that was the way to go. Learned fast had to drive to San Diego the next day (did just fine) Now I am deployed in the Navy havent seen my baby for about 4 months now but that hasn't stopped any thing. Ive been reading none stop and learning every thing there is to learn. Luckily I have a loving mom whos been taking my car to the shop all the time for upgrades...

I got the Cervini's C-300 front end with both side and door louvers. I went with the New Cervini's Cowl Hood instede of the C-300 Hood.

For Future info Cervini's got my parts out quick. Only compliant was I was not able to call them due to being deployed and they dont answer back on E-Mail's.

I then bought SLP Loudmouth, BBK Ceramic Shorty Headers (cali smog rules had to go shorty) SLP X-Pipe w/cats, Under Drive Pullys, S&B CAI, SCT Tune.

LMperformance.com was VERY FAST and very reliable I will order more things from them as well.

I got some 20'' Foose Acoste Wheels as well 20x8.5 and 20x10...

That was my first E Bay experience and well worth it got the wheels new for 1300 w/o tires but im going to strap some Nitto's on.

My future mods are to put racing seats in and do up the interior.

I am going with a no spoiler look and see how that goes and from there I will decide on a duck tail or not. After that I probably will rebuild the motor and then S/C.

Does any one know of any car clubs in Fresno or know of any places around the central valley where fellow Mustang lovers meet up for some fun. As well can any one tell me of some of the best upcoming car shows coming up around the central or southern cali. Or any one else can give me some pointers and advise of other mods. I am not really going for speed just some thing to cruise. I want this car to last a while thats why I dont really want to race it. Thats why i went with the 20's. I dont need performance really but it makes the motor look good and the car run smoother. I just love the stang and I love the old school look but with the new school touch i.e 20'' rims and aggresive body kit from cervini's. Any ways before I write a novel just want to say whats up to all my fellow mustang lovers and I am so glade that I went with the stang no regrets.

Hey man we should meet up some time. I wanna check out the car. I don't know of any car clubs around town though. And I'm not too sure about car shows. But there are bound to be a few. If you want your car to stay reliable I wouldn't modify it any more lol. The more you modify, the less reliable it will be. That's the price we have to pay for more HP.

Yeah sounds good I get back to fresno in a lil over a month... I had a bunch of friends that were in truck clubs in the area but every one grew out of the lowered truck phase. Yeah i dont think im going to do that much more performance mods just a few to get some more power to the wheels and let me pony breath a lil better but other then that I just want a clean ride. You know how cops are in that area they will find any thing to pull over some one for their car...

Holly crap dude,
You're out in the Pacific on some tin can and dear old mom is home running the GT around getting mods done? You have to love that:thumbsup The last time my mom drove one of my new cars, it came back w/ a big door ding. She said a seagull flew into the door. I replied, it must have just painted his beak w/ red paint too! Good luck Quick!
