It looks like all of the Ducktail spoilers are about the same. The different manufacturers have different options on covering the holes for those that have the Ford factory spoiler. The best thing to have is a trunk lid with out the spoiler from the factory. That would be called the "spoiler delete" option. If you have a Ford factory spoiler already installed on your car, the Cervini has an option of installing "pedistal wing" in addition to the ducktail. Classic Design Concepts has an option of adding something to cover the holes left from removing the factory spoiler. I think it is some little bracket looking thing that "looks" like it is functinal. The one on E-Bay says the holes need to be filled. In all cases, the ducktails are attached with double faced automotive tape.

The Legends ducktail photo below, utilizes the factory holes. It does not come with double-sided tape, but is recommend you use some. It is a little bigger than most of the other ducktail spoilers, but it does look nice when installed.
I do not have the factory spoiler so I'm not really worried about the holes. I just want a spoiler that gives the car a better look but also looks smooth and maybe its just me but the Cervini's spoiler seems a bit more rough.
I chose the CDC Ducktail since it covers up the tail light and looks cleaner then added the 3rd brake light up in the top window, however I ended up custom ordering my Stang from Ford without a spoiler to eliminate having to repair or cover the old stock spoiler holes int he trunk lid.

Do the body shops have a hard time spraying these aftermarket spoilers? I've got a SSE ducktail going on my stang and the shop is saying that the part has little pits in it and every time they sand more show up.

same problem with my hood scoop... the shop owner grumbled a bit, extra work for them... but it came out looking great!
Im about 99 percent sure I'm going to go with the CDC spoiler but i was wondering how hard the installation was and how much paint and everything ended up costing. Also I would like to know whether any problems such as drilling or anything of that sort may have caused problems such as leaking or rust
I'm all for the 3D carbon GT500 copy. Its easy to install too. I have the roush, alot of people like it...but its 3 peices. The GT500 one is only 1 piece.

When I almost got one I liked the CDC way better than the Cervinis... then again I really liked the Cervinis hoods... oh well... decided against 2F2F pieces...
