No, I had it painted privately by my friend's son who is a painter in a body shop. Yes I installed it. Started on a Friday evening and finished it by noon Saturday. Not difficult to do. Follow the directions on the under noted url. http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showth...lby+conversion
and http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showth...hlight=oklacop

The GT badge is my preference because it's still a GT. Have put silver 350 and saleen angled
short stripes under side GT markers cause I intend to boost HP up to there.

That looks really nice and for a while I really wanted that front end of the GT500. But with it's distinct front end, when people see me and expect a GT500, I don't want to be labeled a poser, when they see it's a GT.

Still...nice front end, dude!

For all of you wanting to make a GT 500 clone, go to this web site for all the body parts & emblems:

http://www.karkraft.com/

Steering wheel is available from Ford for $375 big ones (no air bag). Other parts are being released soon.

Happy Cloning!

Thanks!

Haven't had any poser comments, but a lot of "Nice ride" compliments. Lots of rubberneckers almost twisting their heads off. I liked the Gt front, but to my liking this one appears a bit more aggresive and futuristic looking. The original was retro and now i feel its more futuristic appearing. Different strokes for different folks. Car's great either way, or Rousch or Saleen or Hertz or whatever. Everyone has an image of what their car should look like and this happens to fit my preference.

No I think he ment 1300 for the front clip. At a normal shop you should be looking at about 1300 to paint and install the front end. If it is any thing like my C-300 clip you have to do rewiring on the lights and they like to charge for that and if they never did one before then its going to take them even long and that means more $$$ for my complete kit for labor i paid more money then the kit was I think all most 3800 for paint and I also did a silicon molding insted of the 3m tape my louvers flew off at 100mph lol but Lenko i love the car its clean and I like that you did the GT badges respect for that insted of trying to say its not. You should thinko of getting your mirrors painted and a duck tail I think that would complete it pretty nicely
