Okies, it's out in the open, I'm a poser !
Having said that I am wondering if any bored Ford partsman have come up with a list of parts, preferably with #'s and prices to build a righteous clone. This is the only time I have regreted choosing Mineral Grey as there will obviously never be any Mineral Grey Shelbys, just my Mineral grey clone .
Hood, spoiler, gauge pod, wheels, grill, front lower valance, rear valance, interior trim and emblems are the most obvious cosmetic differences. I am wondering what other parts are required such as does that gorgeous Shelby grill and lower valance work with the regular fenders? Is the body side moulding below the doors the same on a Shelby as a GT just painted black? I dunno alot of these subtle differences as I have yet to see a Shelby in the flesh, I have just done alot (and I mean alot!) of drooling looking at pics.
I know building a clone does'nt sit right with alot of peep's but it's my ride and I think there is no better look than that of Shelby, since I can't afford to buy one (if I could even find one around here!) this is the next best thing .
Thanks in advance for any info .

Heres one the guy did just that. The driver works for Colorado Mustang Specialties in Aurora CO. He has all the Shelby stuff on it and even has the dash signed by 'The Man' himself. The plate says 67remix. He bought all the parts through or from Shelby in Las Vegas.

If any of you do go this direction, PLEASE GOD do not install those hood vents - they looked like they were just stuck onto the hood with glue or something.

im thinking shelby gt500 front fascia, stock hood with CDC shaker hood system installed, CDC ducktail and quarter scoops along with the shelby side scoops (cdc doesnt seem to make those)..... at any rate, will look bada$$.... especially if i lower the car some since i got the 18's.....(eibach sportlines)
The 07 Shelby has a black bottom like the V6's. It has a GT 500 faux gas cap. The hood is a total different animal. It has cobras in place of the GT emblems and one on the left side of the plain grill. It has a GT 500 1/4 stripe. If you like I could send you some photos of the 07.
Anybody ever order install this Shelby Front end yet?
Price, issues, link to buy?
Thanks
Heres mine. No real issues. Ordered from Ford dealer. About $ 1,200.00 US. Installed about a week and half ago. Stock hood fits fine. Love it.
