Hey guys...went to the local car show just for fun and entered in the car. I was happily, very happily suprised when it won best resto mod car. Defintly made my day and my birthday..now if i can only find out what resto mod means lol

Maybe "resto mod" means restoration/modified. Anyways, congrats, for I know the feeling. when I went ot my first show, I was expecting to get a lot advice and tips, but I placed 2nd in my class. Now you just need to post some pics of your show winning ride.

That's exactly what it means. Though it generally applies to older vehicles.

Congrats on the win at the show. It feels awesome to win something like that, makes you even more proud to own a Stang. Not to brag : ) I won 2 shows: 1st place for best of show and then 2nd place for people's choice. And then I plan on going to a car show on the 30th just north of where I live in Pine Grove, PA. Its deffinitly a awesome feeling. Again, congrats on the win fellow Stanger.

I agree with stlwagon. I've always heard the term restomod applied to older vehicles which have been updated with newer equipment. Like taking a '68 stang and adding 4 wheel disk brakes, modern engine or such.
Congratulations on the win. I've can tell you from experience, they can get addicting. You'll also meet some of the best people.
