I all just comes down to reading those other posts. The people are idiots. I try not to be a snob or anything, but if you can't write or speak the English language at least close to properly, I really have no respect for your opinion. I mean, really, language is the most basic thing we have ever learned since we were kids. If you can't even put a period or a comma into your sentences to help us understand what you're saying, I don't really care anyway.
But I agree with those who pointed out jealously, mommy and daddy won't buy them opne, and that these are 14 year olds posing to look cool because they have nothing better to do with their lives. Or, they are 30+ and they have nothing to do with their lives, so they still act like 14 year olds.
Either way, who gives a rat's a**? I love my car, and I'll never wish it was anything else. It's funny to wonder about, but other people's opinions will never bother me when it comes to my 'Stang.
Oh, and by the way, I got a buddy who just got rid of a supercharged Corvette (C5, I think), to get himself a new '07 GT vert. What's that tell ya?

Well I had not posted anything on this thread because I had never recieved any negative remarks while on my car. Yesterday night however this changed. I was on the freeway going back home and happened to meet up with two other Mustangs, both 04 coupes. Anyway so all three of us are in a single file. A late 80's suburban is pulling up next to us, we were obviously not going fast (CHP was a couple of cars behind) and as soon as he gets next to the Stang behind me he starts honking his horn and the passanger gives him the bird. He pulls up next to me and gives me the bird, pulls up to the Stang in front of me and gives him the bird. What the hell is going on?, I thought, these guys are giving us the bird and they are in an old ass suburban. They are lucky we couldn't show them what Mustang power is all about. Anyhow I now feel your pain and believe that we are hated. We still get the last laugh though.
I am goign to toss mine in as a former Trans Am guy. I think its that there are somany mustangs and they have always been fast, but not the fastest (in genral, but there have been special editions). So we beomce a measuring stick.
If you can beat a mustang with a few mods, your fast, if you can't then you hav emore work to do.
Also, its a non comfomist attitude as there are so many mustangs out there due to it being such a buildable platform and generally popular car... those who are not in must shin those that are.
Then there are a lot of general A-hole personalities that buy cars like this because they already think they are the $hit and that means their sports car(which there are plenty of affordable mustangsto get your hands on) is automatically the $hit to and they give off the personality that ruis it of rthe rest of us owners.
I personally love anythign that is V8 and RWD and AMERICAN made/engineered over any import. Though, I do respect the AWD Turbos out there. I respect anythign that someone has built themselves... I dislike people who have a mechanic... anythign I hae the tools to do, I do myslef.

Yeah,, all these chevy,camaro types just shoot the mouth off ,they know the stang rules and this is the only way they seem to get some comfort. its certainly not on the highways and byways . i own a 97 cobra, my wife has an 02 stang , i just bought myself a new GT convertiable and to rub salt into their wounds i also have an 02 supercharged harley f150,,,eat my dust
I think it's because Out of the box we don't have Mod the hell out of cars to get them to go fast, Just gears,intake,and reprogram They have to spend thousands just to keepup.. IMO.

to be honest i dont like mustang because it seems like everybody owns one. i compare mustangs to mailboxes. if everyones got a mailbox, even a tall pretty purple shiney one isnt going to be special. you see them everywhere. the other day my friends and myself started counting how many mustangs were just in this one neighborhood, and i counted 9! thats a shitload of the same car in a small neighborhood, you feel me? i personally enjoy looking at things that are unique, not everywhere. and the new ones are way to conceited looking, all big and trying to be bad, my buick regal gs 2000 supercharged has blown the doors off a couple 5 point slows, (stock i might add) i dont see what the big deal is about them. another thing is that theyre really easy to work on , so even a person who doesnt know **** about cars could figure out how to work on the block. oh and the other thing is that everyone i know that drives a mustang either looks or is a complete jackass ( or some conceited looking ***** ). they think that they are the **** because theyre driving something that the replica of it is probably parked 2 cars down from them. i hate car shows these days because of the mustang take over. its like why dont all the mustangs park in theyre own parking lot and let all these other interesting , unique, i.e. a 6 carburated ferrari v12, a grand national, i.e. a subaru sti, show their cars off, for they have plenty reason to! theyre not everywhere! theyre interesting! if you like mustangs, go in the mustang parking lot! sure go walk around and look at cars you see driving around like cockroaches, have fun ill be over here!! mustangs are like a dumb clique in highschool that thinks that their own jerkcircle is top notch! and everyone else is like damn man why do they think theyre so special. not to ruin your guys self esteems but im sorry just cause you have a mustang does not make you the ****! actually it makes you a part of a mainstream! a cheerleading squad! you should all start wearing skirts that say woooo yay i have a mustang i am special !!! thats what you guys look like! who cares! i walk outside of my house and down 2 blocks to a main road around here and start counting mustangs and believe me i would see a million of them in an hour! wo! special!

2007 VISTA BLUE GT! Only Mod so far is the 14" shorty antenna and a billet plug with GT on it for the dash power plug.. No Engine Mods 'cause I like the car fine the way it is and making it faster is only gonna get me in trouble.

I am sure you enjoy your car very much, please continue to do so. We enjoy ours as well. Best of luck with yours and please be very careful when racing it. It can be a very dangerous hobby.

Perhaps someday you may get to drive a Mustang and see what it is we find so nice about them. There simply may be so many of them as Ford really got things right with them. Funny thing is, mine is the only one around here. Even two of my neighbors with custom cars, a Vetter and Camaro like my '07.
So yeah! I have a Mustang, and I guess I am special! Rah! Rah!
