Damn fine color, awesome horsepower, great options...man am I jealous. Enjoy your new ride. Now I am really going to have to consider trading my girl in for a Grabber Orange Stang. Have I mentioned that I really like that color?
One question, your Saleen supercharger came with a 475 hp upgrade? How and where do I get one of those? Tell me more about this Saleen supercharger with upgrade.
The super charger was done by my ford dealer; they are also a saleen and roush dealer. The upgrade to 475 was underdrive pulley,bigger injectors, bigger maf, and cold air intake box - it was a saleen package i forgot what else was in it. The upgrade kit also meant much more discussion about the warranty but the dealer will include it all under warranty. I am no mechanic so warranty was very crucial part of this whole deal.

I've seen a couple of Grabbers around here already...actually, it's hard to miss 'em! According to the wife, car colors are a leading-edge indicator for fashion colors...so get ready for some bright orange wardrobes in a few months...

I drove it a little last night, what a blast. The sound of the super charger is really something. Not loud but you know it is there, the pick up is everything I thought and more. Well worth the wait.

Congrats....that is one heck of a ride there. BTW, i was just wondering if they beefed up anything else when they gave you that much power under the hood? i have read in a lot of places that 450 is max for stock internals, and how about the driveshaft? any other mods they added and is it all bumper to bumper....i'm sure if you throw a piston they will cover the problem right?

The warranty was the entire issue when I did this. It took a lot of trips to the dealer in the begining, I could not get any mod covered at all, headers,drive shaft etc. They changed there attitude as this went on, I even got an extended warranty for 7 years 70k miles for $1k. It does not cover clutch, light bulbs and some other things, it does cover every inch of the motor, supercharger, and all things that go with it. Its a big list I do not have it in front of me. It also covered the upgrades they added to the super charger, I even told them this horse power is on the very high end of the motor"s capabilitys. He said it is covered and I have it in writing and for a thousand dollars I had to take it. I am not a street or track racer but I will have a good time once I get used to the car.
