SHM is a good parts provider but DO NOT let them built anything for you, or buy anything assembled (like a finished short block or heads...) They have a bad rep for poor endurance... get a REAL engine builder like Fox Lake, Boss, MP, MV, etc. It is NOT more expensive! Just MUCH BETTER!!

also, If i do decide to stroker-ify my car, can i still add a roush supercharger?
what would be nice is a complete replacement block thats already Stroked.

soon: eibach pro-sport system (2.00" lowering) front and back anti-role bars. A 302 or 351W under the hood.... or a trade in 2006 mustang GT with a 5.0L 302 stroker kit. which shall i choose .
I thought you were going to get that 4.6 from Brenspeed?
MMR makes a great stroker block for 3,200.
I think they sale the rotating assembly there as well for 2,300 or so. I think the short block is a better buy then the kit just because the price of labor will all most out weight the block..
But you will still need gaskets, studs, and if from MMR a dowl pen set.
I would not buy from Sean Hyland though they use Prob. Stick to Manley or JE. Also make sure you get the right compression for your build as well.
Eagle makes a kit as well for about $2500. The assembled block is more economical unless you are going to put it together yourself. Livernois has them as well, but they are a tad more pricey. Quality is definitely there though.
Like Tact said, MMR is a solid choice. I'm making plans for them to build me a stroker next year. You will need all that other good stuff as well. I'm estimating about 6-7K for parts as of now.
Could you get a 5.4 GT500 Block stroke it and put it on with the 3V heads ?
Actually, Im not even going to do the V6-V8 engine swap. I would rather sell my V6 to someone who really wants it. Im trading it in for a new or used GT.
which, buy the way, i can get a used GT for $20,000.00
anyways, Im going to buy a MMR shortblock. a 5.0L stroker. this will give me an extra 40hp, and .4L over the stock 4.6L. And the best part is that all my stuff will fit on it. No changing of computers, or heads and ****.
there. my car will be done.

done? as in no blower or turbo?? Why dont you just buy an 01 Cobra R I think it will suit your racing a lot more. Sense that is what that car was made for.
forgot about that.
yea Im going to put a roots-type blower on my engine. No centri-charger, because they break really easy on the track. same with turbos.
