okay.... If there was any doubt in my mind about what cams to get, you just killed it off. I WANT THOSE!!!! What else did you purchase in addition to the cams themselves? i heard a few guys tell me i needed to purchase new springs in addition to the cams themselves.

That sounds nasty and sweet all wrapped into one

Nope...These are the Ford Hotrod cams and do not require new springs (NSR). I researched many cams before chosing these. I am very happy with the result. The fact that they are a Ford product made my choice easier.

Exhaust setup: JBA shorties, Bassani X-Pipe, Bassani Mufflers
The Saleen supercharger makes a difference in the sound as well.

My neighbors love me for my loud bike and loud car.

Car sounds great That look back towards the neighbors at the end of the clip was classic.

Yep, that's my standard look when I'm not sure if its a friendly neighbor or not. Turned out to be friendly, so I quickly dropped it and switched to friendly mode .

Wow 05FLStangGT, coming from you, that's a great compliment! You're car sounds way better!!! I love those cams that says, "don't play with me." at a stop light . I never liked SLP loud mouths but your exhaust sounds so much different than the ones I found in YouTube. It doesn't sound like somebody shaking a can of marbles as somebody described before. How did you do it?

I'd like to go louder but I consider mine as a family fun car. I want to cary a conversation with my wife and 2 little kids in the car while cruising. Having a convertible top makes it a bit louder inside already with my mild setup. Plus, I might have to move or my old neighbors would sue me for causing them a heart attack.

I think sound clips are good, but for a guideline. I was prepared to swap the slp loudmouths for a quieter set of axlebacks before the cams were even done... Not anymore but I hear what your saying about keeping the car family-friendy... We always take the wife's van everywhere

I have a 1700cc torque monster loud power cruiser toy that is not very family friendly. So switching to a convt car is really going family friendly for me.
