are you talking about the Loudmouths? those sound freaking awesome, i have the FRPP/BORLA Stingers that probably sound a lot like the other SLPs, they are all loud and will nontheless garner attention, you're a kid too so i think you would be one to welcome the extra noise from the Loudmouths... they're illegal in CA ...
Are you sure they are illegal in CA? Or do you mean illegal to pass smog? I'm running them and have had no problems from the long arm of the law...yet. I don't have LT's and a x-pipe either....yet. BWHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!

i am positive. my mufflers are illegal too, they don't pass drive by noise regulations that only CA seems to have... the engine runs so clean that passing smog on just headers shouldnt even be a problem. it's just that damn noise issue that screws us over

In Florida, he can drive past the gated communities and rev it.
I hate those places. It's like living in Stalingrad. No more than two vehicles. None outside. No trucks or modified vehicles. No Harleys (too loud). No fun of any kind. It'd be like living with a bunch of accountants. Every morning, congratulating your neighbor, with a tiny nod and no smile, on their similarity to your rigorous submission to "The Rules".
Give 'em a rev for me.
Keep in mind though that Florida is "God's waiting room", a lot of those gated communities are for retirees who just want to die in peace. Take it from me, I used to live in one just outside Orlando. What used to piss me off was those old farts who thought that because they drove a Cadillac meant everyone else had to yield to them. Had to lay on my horn a few times for those blind bastards running stop signs.

God's waiting room! Good one. My Dad refers to Floridians as "circling the drain".
Yeah, I used to work in Florida (I put 7000 miles, on a rental car, in 28 days!) and I found that driving with your turn signal on was legal. It's called "an eventual left".
My business partner would pipe up "cotton-top alert!" whenever he'd see a tiny, blue-haired walnut peeking over the dashboard as it crawled along the interstate, at 45 MPH.

If I had a quarter for every time I've been cut off by an old person running a red light and giving me a look like its my fault for not yielding to their illegal driving I'd have a GT 500 in my driveway right now. The worst part is when they look at you like its your fault, and you automaticaly are wrong since you are younger than them. I think you should have to take a driving test every 5-10 years to renew your license, because some of these old people driving are not only dangerous, they are down right DEADLY. You hear stories all the time about old people hitting the gas instead of the brakes and mowing down pedestrians and running lights. They just can't react quick enough to be good drivers. Thats my rant for the day, but thats one of my pet peeves. Worse than old people are people who ignore yield signs, especially at rotaries but thats a BIG rant and meant for another time and place

has anyone heard the SLP Axelbacks?? does it sound good.. for a kidlike me? im not lookin for a catback setup.. my buddy just got some other axelbacks, n i was wondering if mine would sound the same? but his is a different brand.
I have SLP axlebacks on my otherwise stock GT/CS. Here's a video I took a couple of weeks ago. It was my first aggressive lauch. I was so excited about burnin' the tires through first gear, I forgot to shift and the rev limiter kicked the RPMs down Burnouts
Both clips are the same, one is flash while the other is wmv.
Other than the SLPs, the car is bone stock. I am told that once I add the CAI/tune, etc. the sound will be different. I'm considering selling the SLPs and buying flowmasters (44's).
13.994 Quarter-mile pass, My buddy's Camaro in the far lane was an auto, so all the fun motor noises you hear are from the 'Stang. At the end I was @ 6,000 RPMs in 3rd gear.
