Flip the gas handle upside down.

A simple solution to the tank fill issue back when ford hadn't announced the TSB.

Use any criteria you wish; cost savings, time savings, increased coolness, whatever it did for you and your car to make you think it was the best tip you've heard here.

I've been here since the early days of the S197 and I've received a lot of tips but my favorite tip was a simple, easy solution I may never have thought of, and it probably saved me a TON of grief and a pocketful of money. I'm tall and the rear view mirror seemed like it was mounted way too low for me. It was in the middle of the windshield for me and I was always looking around it. It was extremely annoying. I was looking for a way to remove the mirror and mount it higher on the windshield so I came to this forum looking for a solution.

JetBlack told me to simply rotate the mirror 180 degrees. SHAZAM! The mirror sits at the very top of the windshield and I didn't have to remove the base from the windshield or any other complicated process I thought I was in for. I took all of 2 seconds to accomplish. Thanks, JetBlack! Never would have thought of that one.
That's funny... that's the exact same thing I did to the mirror on my Jeep Wrangler. I'm not tall by any means but it did get it out of the middle of the windshield.

I think, aside from what everyone has said, the TSB's where the best thing. That knowlege is probably what helped me with my warranty service at my dealership. My second choice would be the obsessive need for everyone to research mods and options on their Stangs here. That has saved me a lot of money by not being so impulsive.
Thanks All!

Some of the Best Information in my opinion has been the easiest & amazingly free.

1) The TSB updates and alerts about some of the potential problems that we may encounter.

2) When installing the CAI, go ahead and remove the carbon filter (i.e. Don't bother to re-install)

3) How to set your Skipper 500 or 1000 for radio channel ID, song name, artist, etc... As well as how to test the radio to see what model/version you have

4) That you can remove the bottom of the cup holder for larger drinks (or secret stash)

5) How to secure your seat belt to the side of the seat with the lanyard

You mean phonetrace.org where you can track any of your friends cell phones, if you try it expect it to take a minute.

Do a search on RDS... read your manual... or go out to your car and hold the menu button for 5 seconds... it's turned off from factory... enjoy!
