I want to put the thick Black stripes on my 06 Yellow GT Convertible. The wife says "no". She tells me that I am a 40 year old man, Stripes are for kids.
What's your opinion?
i'm 40 and i'm saving for hood and stripes for the spring...it's not a matter of age, this body style just screams for stripes!...the black on yellow is a great combo, too..just show your wife some pics from the gallery and she can't help but be sold!..good luck!

I'm 21 and i say no stripes!!! that **** looks ugly!!! the only stripes that are kinda cool are the old school 4 stripe ones where it has a thin strip on the outsde and a thick on on the inside like the cervini cars!!!
I'm 44... It's not an age thing. It's a personal choice.
I agree I'm in the over 40 crowd and I love my stripes, I get so many
complements on them almost on a daily basis. The beauty is the cars
look great either way!! It's a win win situation!

I'm 47 and my wife did not want me to put the stripes on. Now that I have she doesn't like the looks of the ones without stripes! Have your wife look at the stripes on my car. Yellow with wide stripes.
