Default Mineral Grey GT500 front end swap pics

thought I'd share with you guys my front end photos.
Attached are pics of the front end coming off. The big pics are of the front end installed and me seeing if I wanted to put the scoop on or not. Still undecided on that though. Thanks for looking!

Hey, a local guy... Welcome. Very nicely done. Can't quite tell from the pics--I hope you didn't put snakes on the side.

Nope, 65 GT badges. I don't own a shelby cobra. I just like the front end better except the ugly hood they have . BTW what part of Southern MD are you from??

Just a few Ques. Where did you get the front end and how much? Also, How did you wire up the fog lamps? Did you use the factory fog lamp connectors? It looks great. I really want to do that to mine!

I got the entire kit from Kevin Casey(ford parts manager) at clevenger ford. His email is clevparts@aol.com . Send him an email and he will give you a hotsheet with all the prices and the kit parts broken down and the entire kit price all as a bundle so you can mix and match or whatever. He has asked prices not be posted online, but I assure you, he will get the best price for all the parts vs anyone else. The kit comes with the headlight and foglight wireing harness for the gt500, I just cut the foglight wiring off and spliced it to the stock wiring(the foglight connectors are slightly different on the gt500) and covered it up with stock wire loom. If you crawl underneath the car it looks completely stock.

Looks real nice. I sure like the aggresive looks of that front end.

Looks great ! Do have to vote a no on the hood scoop. I think it looks much better without it.

Thumbs up

Looks great and I have to vote for the hood scoop. Are you using the stock hood? And do you have an idea on how much time it took? I'm thinking of doing the same to my 07 this spring.

Thanks for the props . It took use a few hours cause we took our time and made sure everything was done right. Plus I made a sandwich and what not. We ran into a snag with the rivot gun and spent 20 minutes messing with that. Its probably a 2 hour job if you have all the tools and don't run into any snags.

I am diggin that GT500 front end. I couldn't decide which front fascia I would eventually do, but, I think your pictures just tipped the scales in favor of this front end.

I did the same conversion as you did. I also bought the shelby hood, but I took the hood off, as I preffer the GT hood...I like the idea of a scoop, but wasn't loving the scoop you have in your photo...is there another one?
