If you go with the CHE K member then you have the capability to add torque limiter bars, but you don't with the BMR piece. Torque limiter bars attach to the K member brace on one end and the tranny bellhousing on the other end. They prevent the engine and tranny from twisting due to torque at high rpms so you won't miss your 2/3 shift. I've got the CHE piece with the torque limiters and it really tightens things up.

I bought the CHE K-member brace but I didn't get the torque limiters. I didn't think I needed them. Now I'm not sure. I was going to install the brace this afternoon. Should I go ahead and install it and get the torque limiters later or hold off and install them all at the same time? I have access to a lift this afternoon, I'm not sure it will be available later. I'm also doing the LCAs and the Anti Squat brackets.

You can install the torque limiters later so if you already have the lift today, go ahead and install the K member brace...just make sure that you have the torque limiter bracing on the K member brace pointing the right way or you'll have to remove and reinstall it later to put on the torque limiters. Go to CHE's website and check out the picture for the correct way the K member brace should go on if your instructions are unclear. You won't need a lift to install the torque limiters...just get the car up on jack stands or ramps.

I actually had to weld an extra ear on my brace as the driver's side torque limiter wouldn't clear the headers on that side.

Yeah, that makes sense. CHE states on their website specifically that there is clearance problems with their torque limiter bars and SLP LTHdrs.
Hopefully I won't have that issue with American Racing Headers.
