& that is why I don't go to Jiffy Lube for my service. I tend to go to the Dealer to have my service done. I am under the belief to tak it to a place that is certified to work on my vehicle & not a place taht has someone working the position that was just last week working in the toy dept, like Wal-mart tends to do.
That's terrible !!! It's hard to find a good, honest and reliable mechanic.
It's reasons like this I prefer to do the routine maintenance on my vehicles. Unfortunately, cars are getting more and more complicated that the average person isn't capable of even changing their own oil.

I've heard others on this site say they stand over their mechanic for the entire job. Thats what I'm going to start doing. If they object, I'm sure there are hundreds more mechanics in the area. Just as I'm sure its not only jiffy lube doing this. Although I will never go near another jiffy lube again. Last year I paid for that t tech service and went to lunch. I guess I may as well have thrown that hundred dollars away.
We bring our to Heritage Ford in Wesley Chapel. They pull the car up to the window, you can see EVERYTHING. No complaints, and nothing but top notch service there.
Jiffy Lube will never see a nickel from me.

The Cholos are at it again. I have said for years now, you need to treat EVERYTHING as a scam until proven otherwise. I even wear a custom made hat that says everything is a scam when ever I go to buy a big ticket item such as a new car or service, so the sales puke gets the hint. And those six guys that were fired in the video will just get employed down the street and do the same thing.
If I can't watch them. They don't touch my car. I have left a number of places becasue of that.
It does not work well for filters but I always ask to see the parts also. It they have a problem with that they obviously don't want my business.
