Does anyone know how to locate a ceritified SVT dealer? They used to have that included on the search for a locale dealer on Ford.com, but it seems they removed those little SVT icons next to the dealer name.

I think you should look at the SVTOA page or maybe just call SVT.

I don't think there is a such ting anymore. The only SVT left is the GT500 and its not really SVT, its a Shelby. I think once its done there will be no more SVT. Haven't they already been disbanded at Ford?

I dunno. I want one but I don't. I love the GT500, but it's just too close to my GT in terms of looks. Basically, if I sold my GT, I'd prolly have to pay around 20k on top of that, just for the 5.4 supercharged engine. Is that worth it? I dunno. I also contemplated getting an '04, but I'm not real confortable with buying used cars, ESPECIALLY cobra's. So I'm thinking maybe next special edition, maybe I'd think about getting one, but that's pretty far down the road I suppose.

The wife says, if we get a house, she'll let me get a Cobra. Her priorities don't exactly match mine

I believe the SVT moniker will be coming back once the Shelby has run its course. I'd heard maybe in a couple of years.

Hopefully their pricetag will follow them back as well. I'll be all over that like my avatar.

Downs Ford in Toms River NJ is the closest thing to a SVT dealer at least in our area. I'm not sure if there is any other in this area.
