I picked up the repaired and improved Stang from the body shop tonight. Here's a couple quick pics snapped in the garage tonight. The whole scheme is totally bada$$. What you can't see is the "dark Cherry" metallic in the black. In anything other than direct sun, it's invisible.
I'm going to wax it tomorrow, so I'll get some more pics in the sun. Man, I am fired up!!

The paint job is kind of based on the Steeda SilverQ used by JBA Headers as a testbed, with the addition of the red flake. The wing is Steeda's streetwing. It's not for everybody, but I love it. It looks a little Italianesque and gives it kind of open-track feel. And everybody in town has a ducktail. Sure, they look good, but I prefer different. It blends into the body lines more in real life than it looks like in the pics.

I think the hood sceme looks great. Now all you need is the shaker scoop. I will wait for more pictures to judge the rear spoiler. Other than that, it looks good. Nice job.

The guys at the shop reco'd a true carnuba wax ASAP. It's Glasurit paint (I think) that has been repeatedly cured due to the multiple color process.
Mick, what would you classify as an easy on easy off wax? I sure don't want to take chances on this thing.
The paint is actually more reflective and smoother than the brand new glass. All the guys at the shop really got into the project. The finish is show quality. On my daily driver. amazing
