[edit]I came back to edit... just read the long post about the evil brother. I like him a lot, now!!!! He's my kind of guy. 17 year old daughter... genius! You probably walked right by the Neon and didn't notice it's pristine condition, due to your grief and tear-filled eyes. Now that the rains have come, you can get out there and pick off the road dirt your brother put on there.

I agree, drive it as often as you can... the more you drive her, the more you'll appreciate her. I can't imagine leaving mine parked in the garage while I drove a beater to work and back. Have fun, it's YOUR car!

Yeah my brother is a cool guy. Just think, when he was a kid, I was ready and willing to box him up and send him to Siberia.

I just needed to be reminded of the purpose I bought my Stang in the first place. I agree, the mentioning of the 17 year daughter needing a car was a good one. He knew that I have sold many a car to a parent who was buying it their 16 year old kid (i.e. I sold a 2000 Chevy SIlverado in late 2000, ent to a 16 year old kid...I sold a '72 Chevelle SS..went to a 16 year old kid...etc).

I agree, I think I will keep my girl for awhile...at least 30+ years or so.

Glad to hear you got out of the car funk. The Sept. meet and greet wouldn't be the same without you there. The trips will make the heart grow fonder. Just think, I have around 124 miles on my new '07 and have only drove it 3 days. I have another week on this trip and can't wait to get home for some mods and driving before I get shipped off again like you.

My brother was wondering if he was going to have to throw the kitchen sink at me for me to get a clue. I am glad I got the clue before the kithcin sink became airborne.

Fortunately, although my Girlfriend lurks here occasionally, she knows I love her and think all those things about her. She's my baby

and will have a Mustang if she marries me. She said she wants one just like mine! Gosh I love that about her.
