My brother was wondering if he was going to have to throw the kitchen sink at me for me to get a clue. I am glad I got the clue before the kithcin sink became airborne.
You can forget Ronda, I want your brother! What a prankster! LOL!! I bet he was loving every minute of torturing you. He must be your younger brother?
Beware the vengeance of a patient man. I bet he has been waiting years to pull something like that on you.
wow..I havent been following this thread for a couple of days. sure glad it all worked out MrV!

Man, sometimes family is the best. Almost makes up for the other times....
Glad you got things straightened out. Sometimes we need good friends to help remind us who we are when we get a little lost, and it's hard not to get lost in all the hype.

Glad you kept the car. I have regreted selling or trading in cars in the past, every time I did it. I love my mustangs way more then I liked those cars and couldn't imagine how ticked off at myself I would be if I got rid of one.
happy to here the you keeping your stang mrV, and I know how you feel i only have a few things that i will do to my 05 stang and those are a cold air intake, and tuner, and maybe a hood scoop if I find one I like but that will be about it for me. and like you i don't think that I could ever sell it, sure after a bad day at work I vent my anger with saying that i'm going to sell. but I never do. it's the first stang that I have ever owned and I saved up for seven months to get enough for the down payment. and I love it. and would also be fourious at myself if I ever sold it, I try not to drive it in the snow or rain but lately I've had no choice so this summer i might under coat it so that if i ever have to drive it in the snow or rain again i won't have to worry so much about it. and the car will last longer too. anyway glad to here that your keeping your car.

Wow Mr V., I was off the forum for a few days, (BZ with work things) and was SHOCKED to read this entire post. Man, I don't let anyone drive my car, never mind letting me see tail lights fadding down the road. Must of been real hard for you. I took it out for a ride after it sat covered in the stable for 2 weeks. Two weeks ago, washed, and polised it "Tutle Wax Ice Polish", covered it, and after my 10 mile ride, took her home and re-polished it.
I appreciate it more driving it on occasion, (6monts old, 700 miles) then I would if I drove it every day.
You got a unique beautiful ride. Cool thing on Stangs, is, they stand out on the road, unique looking.
Wash, wax her and tell her you care. BTW, don't forget to tuck her in.

After it stops raining, I will definitely be giving my girl the MrV car wash. I mean it does have dust on it and some rubber from the tires.

Ya, it is amazing, I drive mine a few easy miles, not tire burning, and those little black rubber particials get onto the rockers, and wheel wells. What up with that, are my tires that soft? Maybe the oils in the tires? That is an immediate car wash, then polish, and of course the car cover.
Crazy thing is, when I wash her, being I have the cloth top, i am careful not to wet the top, so I trim the top out with towels not to let the splash hit it.
Guess I am just a fanatic......................

That is my plan...to get as many followers of the pampered pet philosphy as possible. And here you all thought I was a bit anal...I am glad to see I am not alone.
As crazy as it sounds, I honestly think I am done modding my Stang. For many reasons, I think I am not going do any further modifications to my Stang and I may un-mod a few mods.
First, it is the cost issue. I have spent way too much money making improvements on my Stang, and for what reason? Second, most of my mods have had freaking situations, like hood snot fitting, spoilers breaking, parts not performing, and parts not fitting or looking good.
As mentioend in other threads, my hood is giving me flapping issues and now I have scrapped my tonneau cover project. I have even decided to scrap the supercharger idea and most other "in the near future" mods. There is even a remote possiblity I may just sell the entire car to be done with it (I grant, I am nowhere near an accurate decision on that idea...yet).
Originally, I was like many of you, I wanted to keep the car stock. Then I realized I wanted a bit more power and then better performance, and of course the right look. Next thing I know, I have spent a smal fourtune on modifications to a car I had expeceted to keep stock. Gee, that modification bug is a doosey!!!
