Default Question on dual exhaust for 2005+ V6 Mustang

Ok guys...new to AFM....got my mustang almost a year ago and finally ready to do some upgrading...first question....yes its been asked a million times im sure..... Wanna change out to a dual exhaust... people who have experienced...any preferences on what system sounds better??

2nd question..... how to get rid of the one wheel peel??? how would i go about doing so...i know i have to change the gears....but what would i need and about how much total???? Thanks in advance guys..

JBA makes a nice bolt-on dual system. It would require some fabrication for pipe hangers but not too bad. Also would need to cut the rear bumper for the left tailpipe.

As for the rear end, you'd need to change out the open differential to a traction lock limited slip. You can find it for less than $200. Figure another $250 for gears and $250-$350 for install.

I put JBA duals from headers to mufflers. I unfortunately got an older version of the exhaust pipes. Didn't quiet fit right. I've heard they have made corrections so it fits nicer now.

I went duals and welded my own pipe up for the cats back and went with some 06 gt mufflers. and they sound pretty good on the v6 at lease i think so.

Iceman,

Do you have an audio/video clip of the GT mufflers?

I want to hear what my backup plan will be like if I don't dig the Pypes/Magnaflow option.

Especially if the others echo through the mountains too much... I'm usually driving around 5am.
