Oh, the brakes on the S197 are better than any of the previous Stangs but no previous Stang has ever been so pig heavy. IMHO, these brakes are barely enough.

Seems to me Ford is always skimping on brakes. The Fox should have come with the '99+ PBRs, the SN95 should have come with the S197, and the GTs should have had the GT500 Brembos. Think I'm axaggerating? Some foreign cars in the same price range come with them. Subarus and Nissans come to mind...
