Ordered mine on 11/2/05 and it was delivered on 1/2/06. Was told 8 weeks and they were right on the money. Don't know if the wait is still that long though.

ordered mine 10/21/04 delivered 12/21/04...eight weeks on the money here also....if i remember right I had placed my order about 3 weeks prior to getting a build date and VIN...but it's been awhile..just plan on 8 weeks and get a surprise if it's early

I was depressed last night so I called Lifeline.
Got connected to a call center in Pakistan.
I told them I was suicidal.
They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.
I think the're doing better now. My 07 was delivered to the dealer is about 2 weeks. It took another week for me to be notified but mine was ordered form overseas. Good luck and I know what your going through.

Haha, I've been around 4-5 weeks until build. My salesperson told me that GT's have been taking a lot longer to build and deliver. The only thing that may delay me is the manual tranny. Thanks for the responses, guys. I'm just trying to get a ballpark estimate.

There was a Ford worker on Blue Oval that could track your car, even posted your PDF window sticker! but unfortunatly they shut him down, a real shame.

Haha, I know... Already meeting those expectations. I think I have the mods lined up. Just waiting for another couple weeks to order them. I'm going to drive it stock for a bit, then mod it to see what kind of increases it made. My gf is about as excited as I am about it... *sigh* she is awesome. She said she'll encourage my hobby as long as I take her on a road trip to her old neighborhood by Pittsburgh, PA so she can wave as we drive by in it. I don't think I've ever driven a manual in that hilly of terrain before... it should be interesting!
Yeah, I'm tracking it over VOCP. My salesperson finally got around gave me the order number yesterday. I asked him what I priority number was, and he said that it was 40 (bad), but he made sure it got moved up a lot b/c a few mustang orders got cancelled (I'm hoping for a priority number of 10). So, the date may be a week sooner than what is projected. I'm bugging him for the hard copies of my order also to make sure nothing got screwed up. Pretty much the only options I didn't get were the comfort group/leather seats, and shaker 1000 stereo. I got it on the X-plan, so with rebates, I'm saving some dough.

If you already have a scheduled date, it should have a vin number, it's not going to get cancelled. The other guys did most likely because the dealer ran out of allocations. Lets not open that wound up again.
