Now this is more of a question than a statement. "Don't you lose more HP through the drivetrain with an auto compared to stick?"
But you also get the benefit of torque multiplication with an auto. Like I've said before, rwhp is over-rated. It takes more than rwhp to run good ETs.

For any of you that travel to Europe or almost anywhere overseas for that matter, would find that most all cars are manual. You will be hard pressed to even find a rental car thats automatic.

A good auto will always beat a manual... but I like to shift everyday, I like to shift on the track too... feel manlier...lol with that said I would also like a 10 sec timeslip...
In Europe almost all cars USED to be manual... auto is coming. Most places in Europe you won't find the traffic as here. It's pretty cool that any girl you meet can drive and probably do drive a stick...
Only in Enland do the drive on the wrong side... and yes, they're messed up.
I am European and I do not shave my pits and legs... however all the tall, sculptured, blond Scandinavian girls I used to go out with did!!

for most who even care. Manual gets better gas mileage. Most of us dont care about insignificant amount. If we did.....we wouldn't be buying V8's. But I thought I'd throw it out there.
Don't tell me the European Union expanded to Hong Kong...
Nope - just a left over from when they were a British colony - Singapore may be one of the other countries in Asia, but I am not sure. I had forgotten about Australia.

I know I know... it was just a pointer at you for bringing in Hong Kong when we talked about Europe...

Yeah...but that's for cost reasons...nothing else. Auto tranny's are much more expensive. Mine was over $1,000 option if I recall.
