I just started looking for good maintenance ramps for the Mustang. I've had some in the past, but they usually hit the front end going up. I found http://www.raceramps.com/store/shopexd.asp?id=1 Race Ramps. They are pricey as heck. Does anyone have these? Are there any other good suggestions for ramps?

Stock as can be, just trying to reverse the damage the previous owner caused.
I have lots of 2x12s I was wondering what to do with after the addition was built. Mine will be a tad heavier than these, but its already paid for...
Thanks for the link!!!

I've just resorted to putting the car up on jack stands using a floor jack. It's easier to get around using a creaper.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
I used No 12x2.5" screws for the bottom boards, and No 12x3" screws for the rest.
Used a standard 2x3 for the stop.
I think I will recut the ends of the boards as it is difficult to get up the ramps on a smooth surface like your garage. Between wheel spin and sliding, beveling the edges 45 degrees should work fine.
Once up, the car is easy to work on.

Might be a good idea to cut them in half or 3/4 lenght wise do you can remove them after the car is up and will be able to work on he sides if needed. You can put a slid pin to keepthem together while going up and off the ramps, the remove the pin and have that extra side crawl space.
