What price should I expect for the install of my Saleen S/C on my automatic 2005 Mustang GT? Also would I need a new hood with the S/C?

To tell u the truth put it on yourself the directions are very easy, and after u get it in tow it to a good dyno tuner to tune the car properly. From the cars I have seen even a roots style blower will fit under a stock hood.

expect 14 - 16 hours labor at 70-90 per depending on your local area... that's what Ive seen

It will fit under the stock hood, I did eventually remove my hood insulation, did not really have to. They also make motor mounts to lower the engine a little bit.

I had a local Ford SVT Dealer install my Saleen Supercharger on my 2005 GT early last year...

Paid just under $1000.00 for the install but I know its done right...

And they warrantied it too...

Expect to pay for a good CAI, SCT tuner and JDM tune before you finish because the Saleen tune is crappy!!!

I think I paid around 1200 for install and tune last year.

Everything fits under the hood now days except maybe a old style 6:71 blower which they don't even make a manifold for a 3val.
