FRPP or Motive Gear?

Hey guys,

I'm planning on buying the t-loc and 3.73 gears for the car in the next month. I was wondering. Are there any adv./disadvantages to FRPP or Motive Gears? I'm guessing FRPP would be a better choice since they are a Ford part.

ford doesnt make the gears they sell but they are good and so is motive...iv had real good luck with my motive gears

Sounds good. I was asking b/c I was thinking of going FRPP, but I found a good deal on a set of 3.73 Motive Gears. I think I may do the t-loc and gears first (t-loc for safety reasons), then do the intake.

Well, I would need to adjust my tune to accomodate the new gears for my speedometer, right?

edit: Well, I found an even better deal on Ford racing 3.73 gears. What else should I get? I will be doing the swap while the car is very new.

Correct... You will adjust for the gears in the user adjustable options. Need to also get yourself a master bearing/install kit to go along with those gears. Should be about $90.
